The Washington Game Warden Association will be hosting the 2020 WWIC at Black Diamond Camp Rainier. Camp Rainier is located approximately 2 hours east of Seattle on Highway 410. Classes will begin at 1:00pm June 8th, and will conclude at lunch (boxed) on June 12th. The conference is open to natural resource Investigators and Detectives.
REGISTRATION FEE- $500 (due no later than May 1, 2020).
The cost of the conference is $500 USD/per person (online orders are $520 to cover credit card processing fees) and covers all classroom materials, meals, beverages, housing and group activities. All attendees will be housed in the Sunrise Lodge. Rooms sleep two or three people without the use of top bunks. Larger groups can be put in adjoining rooms. Linens and towels will be provided and shared bathroom facilities are available on each floor. Please RSVP so we can determine full lodging requirements. Attendees should plan to arrive by 1:00pm for room registration. Cellular service is limited at Camp Rainier so please make prior arrangements with WWIC hosts if shuttle service (SeaTac Airport) is needed. If you need longer to pay the registration fee, please contact us to make arrangements.
Courses to be covered:
Review of complex investigations, undercover basics, surveillance equipment options, undercover recording options, counter surveillance, effects of internet investigations on undercover identities, building a videographer cover, assisting with investigations across state and provincial boundaries, interstate/international suspects and investigations (intelligence sharing), illegal guiding/outfitting, hound hunting, Covert Academy update, etc. A complete detailed course outline will be provided at a later date.
