WASHINGTON GAME WARDEN ASSOCIATION SCHOLARSHIP
The Washington Game Warden Association (WGA) will present a scholarship to one deserving student who shows good character and appreciates the great outdoors. The scholarship will be awarded to a graduating high school senior who will attend a college or university in the coming academic year or to a currently enrolled college student. This scholarship is based on merit (curriculum, GPA, community service), is for one year (non-renewable), and is in the amount of $500.
Eligible candidates must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a natural resource or criminal justice field of study.
There is no application form. An applicant must provide the WGA Scholarship Committee with the following.

A typewritten essay outlining:
A transcript through at least the first semester or second trimester of the senior year (high school) or the most recent college year.
Two letters of recommendation from any of the following:
Proof of acceptance to the college or university of the student’s choice. Required only after selection by WGA Scholarship Committee.
Please note: failure to provide the minimum requirements outlined above will result in disqualification.
